Dr Nitish Surathu
Dr Nitish Surathu is a former Associate Professor of Periodontics who currently practices in New Zealand and India. He completed his BDS in 1991 and went on to complete a MDS in Periodontics in 1994. He is, by examination, an accredited Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has lectured around the world on periodontics and dental implants and continues to be actively involved with university teaching and research, podium lectures, hands on and clinical courses. Dr Surathu served on the Executive Council of the Asian Pacific Society of Periodontology for over a decade and is currently a Director with The ACE Institute. He has also published extensively in peer reviewed journals and other publications and is actively involved in the evaluation of new generation digital technologies in intraoral scanning, CAD software in dentistry, CAM milling technologies, 3D printing, guided implant surgery and relevant materials.
Dr. Neeraj Surathu
Dr. Neeraj Surathu is a Specialist Prosthodontist with registration in New Zealand and the United States. He has a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science from Nova Southeastern University in Florida where he served as Chief Resident during his program. After completing his BDS in 2018, he initially went on to work as a dental lab technician in New Zealand, where much of his work revolved around digital workflows. His consequent involvement with digital dentistry eventually sparked his interest in Prosthodontics and that led to his formal postgraduate education. This in turn has now led to a revived pursuit of techniques for digitisation of modern prosthodontic workflows. Neeraj has also completed an American Academy of Implant Dentistry Maxicourse in Implantology and has extensive experience with various clinical situations in implantology, varying from single units to full arch All on X. He has a keen interest in all things dental and digital, besides surgical prosthodontics and artificial intelligence.
